But for families navigating childhood illness, summer doesn't always look the way it does on everyone else's Instagram. The school breaks, the vacations, the carefree afternoons — they can feel impossibly far away when your child is in treatment, in recovery, or in the middle of a fight that no family should ever have to face.
At The For Nina Foundation, we think about those families every single day. And this summer, we're channeling that love into something joyful — because joy, even in the hard seasons, is something worth fighting for.
Introducing: Where Will You Take Nina's Heart? — Our 2025 Summer Giveaway
We are so excited to bring back one of our most beloved summer traditions: #WhereWillYouTakeNinasHeart, our annual giveaway in partnership with Kendra Scott.
This campaign is more than a giveaway. It's an invitation. An invitation to carry Nina's memory into the places that matter most to you — a family road trip, a quiet morning at the beach, a backyard barbecue, a corner of the world that feels like yours. Wherever you go this summer, we want you to take her heart with you.
How to Enter
Entering is simple, and every comment helps spread awareness for children and families facing serious illness.
Throughout the campaign, we'll be posting 3 to 4 giveaway posts on our Instagram. For each post:

Why This Campaign Means So Much to Us
Nina Karlinsky was the kind of person whose spirit filled every room she walked into. The For Nina Foundation was built in her honor, and everything we do — from providing wigs and support to children facing serious illness, to campaigns like this one — is an extension of the love she gave so freely.
When we ask "where will you take Nina's heart?", we're really asking: how will you carry kindness with you today? How will you show up for the people around you? How will you make the world a little more like the one Nina deserved to grow old in?

Supporting Families Facing Childhood Illness — All Year Long
Childhood illness doesn't take a summer break. According to the American Childhood Cancer Organization, approximately 15,000 children are diagnosed with cancer in the United States each year. Behind every statistic is a family whose summer looks nothing like they planned — and who needs more support than most people realize.
The For Nina Foundation exists to close that gap. We provide wigs and financial support to children and young adults facing serious illness, and we work to make sure no child feels alone in their journey.
